Marianne Berndt

BSO, MCSP.
Marianne is a Chilean trained physiotherapist, with sports and musculoskeletal injuries experience. She has worked in private clinics in Chile working with elite athletes of all ages, orthopedic pathologies, specializing in pre and post operation rehabilitation such as knee and hip replacements, tendinopathies, muscle tears within many others.
Marianne has worked with the Chilean Athletic team a few times, most recently assisting them at the World Youth Championships in France.
Marianne moved to the UK more than 2 years ago, since then she has been working at a private medical-legal physiotherapy clinic in London, specializing in orthopedics, musculo-skeletal, whiplash-related injuries and where she specialized in TECAR Therapy treatment achieving excellent and long lasting results.
Marianna was the former Chilean record holder it the shot put and discus throw, which she did for almost 18 years. She is in the wall of fame at her University in Chile and her high School in Port Washington New York, USA; now waiting to be in the Hall of Fame of the city of Port Washington.
Marianne is studying a part time Master Degree in Orthopedic Medicine, which she is aiming to finish it by 2012. She is trained in dry needling and muscle energy techniques.
When Marianne is not working, she enjoys traveling, spending time reading physiotherapy books and spending time with family and friends.
