London Marathon Race Day Preparation
Here's a few short reminders as you prepare for the big race day.
1. Prepare the night before
Go to bed early, relax, prepare all you need for the morning.
Walk gently, gradually increasing your speed. Gently move your joints through their range of movement. Don’t do any prolonged stretching as this can relax the muscles too much.
3. Nutrition and hydration
Keep your eating and drinking regime the same as you normally do when running.
4. Check your running style at each mile marker
Take notice of your running posture: relax your shoulders, stay upright and breathe steadily.
And most importantly enjoy the day and the whole experience.
